College Students Apply Today!
To promote Idaho’s sheep industry and provide support for students interested in pursuing sheep-related careers, the Idaho Wool Growers Association is offering two $1,000 scholarships for college students at the University of Idaho.
The funds from this scholarship were raised through the Promo Ewe from the 102nd Idaho State Ram Sale, directly from contributions made by Idaho Sheep Producers.
Applications Due: July 5, 2024
Scholarship Requirements
- Academic standing must be a college sophomore level or above. Graduate students are eligible.
- Preference is given to students majoring in an agriculture-related or natural resources-related field of study, agricultural sciences, or veterinary medicine, with a career interest in the sheep industry. Other majors will be considered.
- Applicants must be Idaho residents.
- Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average.
- Applicants must be University of Idaho students
- Preference will be given to children of Idaho Wool Grower Association members, but membership is not required to apply.
